The Shan Lin Xi oolong in Nantou County, Taiwan, has an elevation of 1600 to 1800 meters. The tea gardens are often surrounded by clouds and mist, and the soil is rich in minerals and has a diverse structure. The tea leaves, grown using friendly farming methods in a pristine cedar forest environment, are tightly packed and have a unique cedarwood aroma.
The tea is made from Qingxin Oolong, hand-picked and lightly fermented, then lightly roasted to produce a fragrant high mountain tea with elegant floral and tea aromas. The tea soup is a honeyed golden color, rich in pectin and tea polyphenols, with a layered and full-bodied taste and a lingering aftertaste.
